Seizure of raw materials and produced goods

Seizure of raw materials and produced goods

The legislator, through Article 114 of the Code of Criminal Procedure enacted in 2013, has prohibited the suspension of all or part of service or production activities, such as commercial, agricultural activities, and the operations of workshops, factories, trading companies, cooperatives, and the like. Additionally, in clause “H” of Article 24 of the Law on Enforcement of Financial Convictions enacted in 2014, the seizure of tools and equipment used by tradesmen, artisans, farmers, and other individuals, which are essential for their livelihood and the livelihood of their dependents, has been declared as exempt from seizure. However, the issue of seizing raw materials and produced goods still remains.

Suggestion:

Add the phrase “raw materials and produced goods” to clause “H” of Article 24 of the Law on Enforcement of Financial Convictions enacted in 2014.
